Hypalon offers outstanding resistance to abrasion and to ozone which is a common cause of glove failure in dry boxes. Hypalon also protects against oxidizing chemicals. Its natural softness enhances worker comfort.
Nitrile offers anti-static properties, making it an excellent choice when static discharge is an issue. Nitrile gloves are strong, flexible and puncture resistant, and shed less than many other materials. They also offer strong resistance to most aromatic hydrocarbons, petroleum solvents, oils, fats, acids, and greases, and are recommended for use with many materials, including ethanol, gasoline, hexane, isopropanol, naphtha, turpentine, and xylene.
Butyl features the highest impermeability to water vapor, gases, and toxic chemicals—including most missile fuels, acids and bases. It also resists swelling and attack by many solvents and oxidizing chemicals, such as simple alcohols, ketones and esters. It lacks the "spring" of natural rubber; many feel that this property reduces hand fatigue. Remains flexible to temperatures as low as -40°C.
Neoprene offers high tensile strength and flexibility and is ideal for work that requires good sensitivity and dexterity. Neoprene gloves can be strengthened with an outer film of Hypalon. All gloves are size 9.75, unless otherwise noted.
